About Me

I have been teaching special services for 40 years and have no regrets. I consider myself very fortunate that I am excited about going to work everyday. I have 2 adopted children, 1 step child, and 2 biological children. I now also have 12 grandchildren—the oldest being 24 and youngest 2 years old. I love animals and have 3 dogs and 1 cat. I enjoy fishing, camping, and crafting but mostly being with family. I love life and I am thankful for everyday!

Philosophy of Education

Every student is capable of learning. Parents and teachers are a team working together for their child’s education. Students need to be held to high standards and become inquisitive to discovery for lifelong learning. Flexibility, patience, compassion, and respect are keys to learning and without them, teaching would be ineffective or pointless!
