About Me Hello! My name is Megan Rathman. I have lived in Nebraska my entire life and grew up just down the road in Sidney. I was fortunate to complete my student teaching at Leyton Public Schools in the fall of 2012. After graduating, I was thrilled to begin my career in my dream role as a kindergarten teacher at Leyton. In 2020, I transitioned into the role of Curriculum Director and Title I Coordinator. I enjoy working alongside students and teachers to support learning and help every child reach their full potential. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is working one-on-one with students as they build confidence and strengthen their academic skills. My husband, Lane, and I live in the country with our beautiful daughter, two dogs, a cat, and several farm animals. Leyton has always been home to our family, and it holds a very special place in our hearts. I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful school and community.
