About Me

I was born and raised in Nebraska just outside of the Lorenzo area and left briefly to attend Chadron State College where I got my Bachelor’s degree in Education to pursue the only career I have ever wanted to do! I guess you could say I found more than a degree along the way, I met my now husband Kolebe in Chadron and we moved back to Sidney where we got married and have welcomed two children, Elizabeth & Mason. I lf I am not in the classroom you can find me on walks with my two littles or at the grocery store finding ingredients for a new dinner recipe I want to try.

Philosophy of Education

I believe that building a trusting and supportive relationship with students is where the learning begins. I start with getting to know my students first and foremost so that we start learning and building a trusting relationship from the start in order to help students and even faculty to reach their goals. Education is nothing without support, trust, and teamwork.
