About Me

I was born and raised in California, but love to call Nebraska my true home. My two children and I live in Sidney where we enjoy outdoor activities, playing games, and spending time with friends. As a nontraditional student, I returned to college in 2019 to earn my BS in Elementary Education, graduating from Chadron State College in 2021. My children and I lived in Dalton for 4 years and are looking forward to returning to the small town values that Leyton Public Schools has to offer.

Philosophy of Education

I have always had a passion for helping people understand their personal value. I want all of my students to learn about their individual strengths, and how those can benefit their education. I place my focus not only my students cognitive needs, but their social/emotional well being as well. I believe this is the best way to develop confident learners who feel good about their educational journey.
