About Me

Philosophy of Education

My philosophy of education focuses around building a caring and safe community where students feel like they are able to speak their mind and grow. All students are unique and have different ways of learning. My philosophy is to find those unique learning abilities and help the students thrive off of them. In my classroom students will always feel welcomed, loved and appreciated. Teaching is a process of learning from coworkers, students and the community. This is a lifelong process where you are constantly learning new philosophies, strategies and new ideas. Over time, my teaching philosophy may change, and that’s okay. The world is constantly changing, and that just means I have grown as a teacher.
